Dr Andrew Macdonald is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in both Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology. He attended Oxford University Medical School for his undergraduate medical training. Following four years of surgical training he then undertook specialist training in Radiology at Oxford University Hospitals.
Dr Macdonald’s sub-specialty interests lie in complex embolisation, interventional oncology and uroradiology. He has an active interest in clinical research and has presented nationally and internationally on subjects such as Prostate Artery Embolisation. In addition, he has served as regional Principal Investigator for several multi-centre embolisation studies.
He is a member of the British Society of Interventional Radiology and of the British Society of Urogenital Radiology.
